Support Worker Lockleaze (BS7)

Silva Care are currently looking for people to join our hard working and friendly support worker team in Lockleaze, Bristol. Our starting wage is £12.75 per hour, with enhancement rates for weekends. Support Worker pay rates also increase further based on length of service.

Job purpose

To ensure that each service user receives care appropriate to their individual need by promoting a caring environment for service users through high standards of practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the service users. Assist in the implementation of the requirements of the National Minimum Standards for Domiciliary Care Agencies, published in accordance with the Care Standards Act 2000. Work within, and promote, the policies and procedures of Silva Care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow care plans and health & safety procedures
  • Assist with personal care, medication, and daily activities
  • Support service users with finances, social activities, and household tasks
  • Maintain records and collaborate with professionals
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment

Christmas Saving Scheme

We offer a Christmas savings scheme that allows staff members to set up monthly payroll deductions from January to October. The total amount saved will be paid out in the November payslip.

If an employee leaves the company, the scheme will automatically close, and any saved funds will be paid out. Staff also have the option to request an early withdrawal of their savings by emailing our payroll team.
