Support Worker Winterbourne (BS16)

Silva Care are currently looking for people to join our hard working and friendly support worker team in Winterbourne, Bristol. Our starting wages begin at £11.64 per hour which can rise to £11.92 through length of service, plus weekend enhancements rates.

Job purpose

To ensure that each service user receives care appropriate to their individual need by promoting a caring environment for service users through high standards of practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the service users. Assist in the implementation of the requirements of the National Minimum Standards for Domiciliary Care Agencies, published in accordance with the Care Standards Act 2000. Work within, and promote, the policies and procedures of Silva Care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow care plans and health & safety procedures
  • Assist with personal care, medication, and daily activities
  • Support service users with finances, social activities, and household tasks
  • Maintain records and collaborate with professionals
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
